Better lives. Made possible by you.

YOUR SUPPORT HELPS US CREATE BETTER LIVES FOR OUR CHILDREN

Regina’s hospitals support the healthcare needs of children from across southern Saskatchewan. As one of three designated pediatric centres in the province, more than 12,000 children seek help in our three hospitals every year. In addition, approximately 4,500 babies are born here every year. About 500 of them begin their lives with complex and often life threatening conditions, needing care in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), at the Rawlco Centre for Mother Baby Care.

Our dedicated doctors and nurses work tirelessly and passionately for those whose visit may last a day or stay for weeks. From the inpatient unit for children with acute conditions in need of surgery, to the outpatient clinics where kids with cancer, juvenile diabetes, neurological, cardiac or respiratory issues, cystic fibrosis or kidney disease are cared for. Children in need of special rehabilitation therapies are treated through dedicated children’s programs at our Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, while others may require care from the Adolescent Psychiatry Unit or the Adolescent Detox Centre. To date, Hospitals of Regina Foundation has invested more than $28 million in our pediatric programs. With your support, we will continue to invest in local children’s services to build exceptional pediatric programs so our kids have access to the best health care when they need it most, right here at home.
